Cleaning Products 2012 Show in October

Smithers Apex’s Cleaning Products 2012will bring together leading organizations like The Procter & Gamble Company, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and Staples to discuss green chemistry innovation, future prospects for the automatic dishwashing detergent industry, and more.  This sixth annual event, developed in association with The American Cleaning Institute (ACI), will take place October 3-5, 2012 in Baltimore, MD.

This year’s Cleaning Products conference will be chaired by Brian Sansoni, Vice President, Sustainability Initiatives, ACI.  Joining him on the advisory committee are Dr. Steve Bolkan, Director of Research, Church & Dwight Co. Inc; Vincent Bossert, Director Product Line Detergents, Clariant Corporation; and Gilles Mur, Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development, Fabric and Household Care, DuPont Industrial Biosciences.

“Cleaning Products 2012 will bring together cleaning product formulators, ingredient suppliers, packaging manufacturers, and a cross-section of industry experts who will focus on market trends, new R&D advances, and regulatory challenges,” said Sansoni.  “This year’s program will provide attendees with the most up-to-date information on… how to make industry sustainability efforts more sustainable, and details on a new initiative demonstrating cleaning product ingredient safety, among many other topics.”

A keynote presentation will be delivered by Gerard Baillely, R&D Manager Global Home Care and P&G Professional, The Procter & Gamble Company. Other organizations presenting at Cleaning Products 2012 include American Cleaning Institute; DuPont Industrial Biosciences; Good Housekeeping Research Institute; Henkel Consumer Goods Inc.; Rivertop Renewables; Robertet; Seventh Generation; Staples, Inc; The Shelton Group and the US Environmental Protection Agency.
